Terms of Service

Effective June 25, 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of Belfry, the chamber and association management platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization.

1. The service

Belfry provides software for managing members, dues, events, a public directory, a member portal, communications, and related operations for chambers of commerce and associations.

We provide the service on a subscription basis under the plan you select. Plan features and member capacities are described on our pricing page and may evolve over time.

2. Accounts and access

You are responsible for the staff accounts you create, for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, and for all activity under your organization's account.

Each role is granted only the capabilities appropriate to it. You agree not to attempt to access another organization's data.

3. Payments and fees

Subscription fees are billed in advance per your plan. Member dues and event payments are processed through your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect; Belfry charges a 0% platform fee on those member payments, and standard Stripe processing rates apply.

Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. Annual prepay plans include the discount stated at purchase.

4. Your data

You own your data. We act as a processor of the member data you upload and will not sell it or aggregate it across organizations. You may export your data at any time.

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, as described on our security page.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Belfry in compliance with applicable laws, including those governing email and SMS communications and consent. Communications you send must respect recipient consent and applicable opt-out requirements.

6. Termination

You may cancel at any time; you will retain access through the end of the paid period and may export your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an 'as is' basis to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
